  • Promotion of the biggest and the most important  indigenous cultural festival of the Tangkhul Naga tribe popularly known as Luira Phanit – seed sowing festival with support from North Eastern Council, NEC and Dept of tourism, GoM

  1. Career Awareness Programs
  • TYDF and ALS IAS in collaboration with Avanti organised a One Day Mega Career Awareness seminar in Ukhrul, Manipur
  • TYDF Organised One day career awareness for civil services aspirants by renowned coach and mentor, Mr. Jojo Mathew, founder and chief executive director of ALS IAS, New Delhi at St. Joseph college, Ukhrul, Manipur
  • TYDF in collaboration with C-Cube foundation organised one day interactive career counselling for students with 30+ professionals from different fields experts

Various career awareness programmes given by various career guidance experts and professionals of various disciplines including country renowned UPSC Civil Services mentor Shri Mathew Jajo, founder and Chief Executive Director of Alternative Learning System (ALS) New Delhi and Mr. Akshay Saxena an IITian and MBA from Harvard.

  1. Leadership Summit

TYDF organized tribal leadership summit on a theme “Democratic space and economic development of the North Eastern tribes” on 25th Nov 2017 at St. Joseph college conf hall, Ukhrul, Manipur. Participants include various tribal leaders Shri Jitendra Choudhury, Member of Parliament (Tripura),  Manipur- President ATSUM, Gen. Secretary Samsianpwaipi (SSPP), Chairman Autonomous District Council (ADC), President TKS etc

  1. Developmental seminar

Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) and TYDF in collaboration with MANIREDA, Government of Manipur organized seminar on New and Renewable Energy Source. Presentation includes Directors, ADC Members and various civil societies’ leaders.  Awareness programme on renewable energy in Manipur (https://www.outlookindia.com/newsscroll/awareness-programme-on-renewable-energy-in-manipur/1077456)

TYDF in collaboration with MANREIDA installed 50 solar street lamps by TYDF at Ukhrul district headquarter.  This is a part of TYDF objective in  bringing renewable energy in the district
